Key facts

Sponsored listings, section sponsorship, event promotion and the embeddable beach conditions widget are available on this Amelia Island guide. Editorial placement, ranking position and undisclosed advertising are not for sale, and every commercial arrangement carries a visible label.

What is not for sale

Editorial placement. You cannot buy a listing, buy a position in a ranked list, or buy your way onto an intent page. Those are editorial decisions.

Ratings. We do not publish any, so there is nothing to buy.

Undisclosed placement. Every commercial arrangement is labelled where a reader sees it, in the data behind the page, and on every hub the listing appears on. If you need placement that does not look like advertising, we are not the right publisher.

What is available

Sponsored listings. Your business gets an enhanced listing carrying a visible Sponsored label. The label appears on the listing page and on every hub and intent page the listing appears on, and the record is flagged as sponsored in the underlying data and JSON endpoints.

Section sponsorship. A named sponsor credit on a hub or cluster — for example the beaches hub or the events calendar — clearly presented as a sponsorship rather than as editorial.

The conditions widget. Our beach conditions data is available as an embeddable widget for other sites. Sponsorship of the widget is available, and the embed carries the sponsor credit and a link back.

Event promotion. Festival and event organisers can have a dated listing promoted in the events calendar, labelled as sponsored. Note that we list an event's dates only once confirmed with the organiser — which, if you are the organiser, is straightforward.

What we need from you

For any listing, sponsored or not, we need what we need from everyone: a primary source for your details. Your own website, or a phone call with someone who can confirm hours. We do not publish hours or prices we have not confirmed, and paying does not change that.

For photography, we need images you own or have a licence to sublicence, with a credit line.

What sponsorship does not get you

Editorial control over what we write, removal of an unconfirmed label before we have confirmed the details, exclusion of a competitor, or the deletion of an accurate fact you would rather we left out.

Affiliate links

We may use affiliate links, mainly for accommodation booking. Where we do, they are marked, and they never affect whether or where a property is listed.

Who this reaches

This site is new and being built in phases; we are not going to quote you traffic figures we do not have yet. Our sister site, Things to Do in Fernandina Beach, covers the same market and can supply real numbers, and a combined arrangement across both is possible.

If you want audience data before committing to anything, ask and we will send what we actually have.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay to be listed on this Amelia Island guide?
Not for an editorial listing — those are not for sale. Sponsored listings are available and carry a visible Sponsored label on the listing, on every hub it appears on, and in the underlying data.
Does sponsorship change what you write about my business?
No. Sponsorship does not buy editorial control, removal of an unconfirmed label, exclusion of a competitor, or the deletion of an accurate fact.
Do you use affiliate links?
Sometimes, mainly for accommodation booking. Where we do they are marked, and they never affect whether or where a property is listed.
